Ranger Guided Tours at Hohe Tauern National Park
Tip: Books out quickly, get in early to avoid disappointment.

Hohe Tauern National Park Valleys
Tip: Go at your own pace with an e-Bike rental or using the regular bus services.

Enjoy a seemingly limitless hiking area through one of the 13 lush valleys that traverse the mountain ranges of Hohe Tauern National Park.
Bordered by cool mountain rivers that snake through the reserves, find yourself in open areas with peaceful vistas and echoing mountain walls.

Perhaps try the Habachtal trail (also named “Valley of the Emeralds” on account of the gemstones one can find in the area), which commences just walking distance from Dorferwirt Chalet.

Krimml Waterfalls
Tip: Start early and see even more by continuing the hike through to Krimmler Achental.

With a fall of 380m Krimml Waterfalls possess the highest waterfall drop in all of Europe. A sensational, but family-accessible 4km path winds around the waterfalls providing scenic views and refreshing sprays of mist. A curiosity of the falls are scientifically documented positive health effects of the mist.

Grossglockner High Alpine Road
Tip: Spend the day in Großglockner, then after sunset continue to Zell am See’s lakeside promenade.

The Grossglockner High Alpine Road provides direct access to the highest mountain in Austria. Now everyone can enjoy what was once reserved for only the most experienced of hikers.
